Terms & Conditions

MyCSTC is the online portal and mobile application of the College of Sciences, Technology and Communications, Inc. (“CSTC”). By signing in you agree to these terms.

Who may use it

Access is limited to currently enrolled students and to employed faculty and administrative staff, using a CSTC-issued cstc.edu.ph Google account. Accounts are created by the registrar; you cannot register yourself. Access ends when your enrollment or employment ends, and the registrar may disable an account at any time.

Your account

• Your account is personal. Do not share it or let anyone else use it.
• Keep your CSTC Google account secure, and report suspected misuse to the registrar at once.
• You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

Information about other people

If you record emergency contacts, you are giving us another person's details. Only provide them for someone who knows you have named them, keep them accurate, and remove them when they are no longer the right person to contact. Do not enter anyone else's personal information anywhere else in the portal.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access records that are not yours or not within your role.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the system's security or access controls.
• Copy, publish, or redistribute other people's personal or academic information.
• Upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content, including as a profile photo.
• Use automated means to extract data from the system without written permission.

Academic records

Grades shown in MyCSTC are official only once approved by the registrar and released. Grades still being encoded or awaiting approval are not final and may change. Assessment and payment figures are for reference; the Cashier's Office records are authoritative in case of any discrepancy. If you believe a record is wrong, raise it with your instructor or the registrar — corrections are made through the registrar, not in the portal.

Availability

CSTC aims to keep MyCSTC available but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. The system may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, and features may change or be withdrawn.

Intellectual property

The MyCSTC software, the CSTC name and seal, and the content of the portal belong to CSTC or its licensors, and may not be reproduced without permission.

Suspension

CSTC may suspend or withdraw access for breach of these terms or of the Student Handbook or employee policies. Serious misuse may additionally be dealt with under school disciplinary rules or referred to the authorities.

Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the version and date shown above indicate the current release. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
